Veronica Akaezuwa is a Heights resident, the daughter of an immigrant father, and community advocate with years of experience fighting for good-government causes.
Raised in a family of voting rights activists, she worked with the late Ward D Councilmember Michael Yun before establishing the Data and Policy Team at the NJ State Office of Innovation. Now she is running for City Council with a commitment to deliver:
